Having just arrived in Xiamen one of the first tasks for a foreign student is finding an own accommodation. Nowadays your first try in searching for a home will most certainly be the web. While surfing you may come across a certain Paul Ye's website. I strongly advise you to give it a try.

After calling Paul and giving him some criteria for an apartment (location, features, price) we arranged a meeting on the same day. Paul's very good English proficiency was one of the first things to notice, they were adding to his friendly nature and professional behaviour.

On the same day we found a room that suited my expectations. In no time Paul then arranged a meeting with the landlord where he talked me through the contract, explaining, translating and observing the signing. He even managed to get me the room at a cheaper rate.

Paul Ye is certainly a professional and very competent real-estate agent, in addition to this professionalism comes a friendly and caring character, giving you a good feeling right from the beginning.

"We found a realtor, Paul Ye from Xiamenapartment.com, who showed us around 10 apartments in two days.  Paul is a great guy who speaks excellent English, and as a native of Xiaman, knows the town like the back of his hand.  He also has an intimate knowledge of what expats expect and want out of apartments and is very familiar with the real estate in the area.  He was great at his job and friendly, taking us around the apartments and pointing out where to shop, where to eat, and overall went way above and beyond the call of duty in making a couple of laowai (foreigners) feel at ease in his hometown.

We found an amazing 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment with a killer view of the ocea and the nearby islet.  Paul showed us where to get groceries, marked out places of interest on our map of the city, helped us get internet, and negotiated a better deal with the landlord.  Needless to say we are utterly in his debt."

I am an Italian boy who lives in the city of Italy When I decide to come to Xiamen to work I had no idea how to find a home and accommodation, as the company for which I will work had no solution for me. Fortunately, few days leaving I found Xiamenapartmen.com and I managed to contact the real-estate person. I explained my problem and within two days they proposed me two hotels in which to stay for the first night.

The next morning I saw several apartments, at least 6, all are very nice and in various areas of the city, and among them I chose mine. I have also helped in negotiation on the price to give me a good discount on the rental. In the afternoon of that day they accompanied me to the central police station to register, and I must really say that without their assistance I would never succeed, also because no policeman spoke English.

So the Amoy real estate company is very competent, quick in finding a solution, with employees who speak excellent English and a little Italian, and offering a good service for a really ridiculous price compared with the service they may give you. What else add.... visit Xiamen, because it is a beautiful city and no matter you come here for work, for pleasure or study, contact Amoy real estate company and they will think to make people feel at home!
