We all know business people who really deserve their success. Paul is one of them. He is very professional and passionate about his business. He surely is successful and has a lot of satisfied clients.

Meeting Paul was one of the most remarkable coincidences since I arrived in Xiamen. When I first discovered his website, I thought that this was too good to be true. I simply sent him an email saying: "If you are only half as good as the testimonials say, then you are my agent." - His answer was basically: "Try me."

And I did.

Finding a nice place for a reasonable price - that's one of the major challenges for a foreigner in China. Especially when he or she does not speak Chinese very well, or not at all. Xiamen is a wonderful place to live, but the range of quality and prices in this city is befuddling. Without a network of local friends or an agent like Paul's, a foreigner is lost here.

Paul might not be the only English-speaking agent in Xiamen, but he is definitely the only professional who is really local, and whose English is excellent.

He showed me five or six places, he clearly understood which area it had to be. The first place was not what I wanted, but the second place was beyond expectations. He then said: "Don't make up your mind too quickly, let's take a look at some other places around here." That was nice! I agreed. Some other places were bigger or had a better view or were more luxurious. But nothing really was like this second apartment we saw.

Paul then arranged a meeting with the landlady. He suggested that getting to know the landlady would be a good chance to reach a long-term agreement that makes all of us feel comfortable. I couldn't agree more. Then he took over the negotiation and prepared the contract. He also offered help for the moving and the registration at the police. He seems to know everyone in Xiamen and therefore knows a solution and a specialist for almost every problem, which made me feel very comfortable.

After moving into the new apartment and it feels like I never had a nice place like this in my whole life. Not cheap, yes, but worth every Cent.

Without Paul I could have never found this place. Paul has been of great. He really cares about what his clients (both landlord and tenant) think and how they feel. And his proficiency includes the knowledge that only a good relationship between agent, landlord and tenant can lead to stable long term business success and customer satisfaction.

Paul carefully listens to his clients, he is a patient and reliable partner and he understands a great deal about intercultural communication.

On a Thursday evening we contacted Paul when we urgently needed an apartment. He was very obliging and offered his immediate help. We had high requirements, because we wanted an affordable big apartment near our university for only six months.

On a Saturday morning we met him and he showed us many suitable apartments. Compared to other agents, Paul can speak English very well. For Europeans it is very easy to understand him. He has a lot of experiences with foreigners, knows their preferences and we immediately noticed his will to find the right apartment for us. Furthermore he has a wide range of nice apartments and good relationships to the landlords. He was very friendly and open-minded to us. During the inspection of the apartments, he told us interesting things about Xiamen and gave us advice which places to visit.

Mi and my Wife just got married and we decided to come to China.. because of the work opportunity and we wanted a change of our common life's.
